M. Miles Sukovic concentrates his area of practice in insurance coverage and litigation as well as on international arbitration and claims management. He represents London, Bermuda, and domestic insurers in professional liability matters, including health care, lawyers' and accountants' malpractice, and D&O liability.
Mr. Sukovic participates in the underwriting process on behalf of the London market by performing pre-underwriting claims and systems reviews of hospital, long-term care, staffing agency, and other allied health care risks seeking professional liability coverage. Mr. Sukovic monitors and manages claims, from first notice to case resolution, on behalf of those same London syndicates. In addition, Mr. Sukovic counsels clients on various regulatory matters, including the Medicare Secondary Payer Act and MMSEA Section 111 Reporting.
Mr. Sukovic is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). In addition, he is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association, where he served as Chair of the Health Law Committee in 2009-2010.
