Cynthia A. Carter concentrates her practice on insurance coverage with an emphasis in counseling international and domestic insurers and reinsurers on professional liability risk exposure and management. Ms. Carter is experienced in assessing coverage in respect to health care liability policies, including managed care, medical malpractice, miscellaneous errors and omissions, and directors and officers liability. She is also experienced in advising clients with respect to general commercial and business liability policies. Ms. Carter has represented insurance carriers in declaratory judgment and bad faith actions.

Ms. Carter is a member of the American and Chicago Bar Associations.
